The Greater Taunton MRC was established in February of 2007
and is comprised of organizations representing
public health, fire service, emergency management, hospital
and other Health and human service entities.
A community advisory group provides guidance
to the further development of this organization.

The GTMRC's mission statement is to pre-credential,
train and deploy volunteers with clinical and non-clinical backgrounds
to public health emergencies and ongoing public health initiatives
when the existing systems become overwhelmed.
